On July 8th 1969, Leyland OPD2/10 R693 was seen passing Loyola Park on the Knocknacarra route in Galway. New in October 1956, it ran in service until December 1974 and was scrapped a year later. The route to Knocknacarra seems to have had good loadings at the time, and is today provided by a private operator with Dennis Darts. (Photo copyright Roger Newport).
